Yesterday it was all about Max Jeans and styling three of their pieces, and today it’s all about the fall trend everyone seems to be talking about – flare jeans. Have you embraced this trend? As I was shopping for flare jeans, I noticed there are different levels that are considered flare. There are ones that look like bell bottoms and have a lot of flare. There are ones that seem to have a medium amount of flare, and then the ones (like mine) that lean more towards a bootcut style. All of them are fitted in the thighs and knees and “flare” at the bottom. The more modern flares could also be considered bootcut. There’s your education on flares for the day. 🙂
I prefer (on me) the flare jeans with minimal flare. They fit in with my style and everyday life.
Given that we’re headed into fall, I knew I wanted to pair these with my booties. You’ve seen them pop up on a bunch of outfits featured here and that’s because they are my go-to shoes for fall. Flare denim are also super cute with wedges, heels and heeled boots – basically anything with a bit of a heel to it.
This Cable Knit Sweater Coat in Orange Spice from Chadwicks looks amazing with the dark denim. The minute I put this sweater on, I knew it was meant for me. Between the color and the fit – we’re going to be best friends this fall.
Gold jewelry goes perfect with the orange sweater, so I was excited to wear these Love Knot Earrings I recently purchased from Conversation Pieces. They are very well-made and the perfect earring for everyday wear.
