Today’s Cute Outfit Ideas of the Week features the color gray or grey – however you like to spell it. (Gray is the American spelling. Grey is the UK spelling. That’s your little English lesson for the day.) Why gray? I had someone ask where they could find this gray shirt(which is sold out btw) and then I started thinking about this very versatile color.
How can you wear it? In all kinds of ways, with all kinds of things. I found a ton of outfits with gray – both perfect for summer and fall. Let’s start with the summer ones shall we? We’ll end on the fall beauties. (I know it’s only July, but I can’t help but already be thinking about scarves and boots and jackets and hot cocoa!)
Cute Outfit Ideas of the Week – Edition #10
I’ve featured this outfit before, but I couldn’t help doing it again. I love the gray shorts paired with the bright blue top. You can find these here for $175. They’re actually calling the color tan, but to me – they look gray. Am I alone here? And yes, I know that “chino” means twill – which is typically found in a tan color. Just work with me here.

I am head over heels in love with this Gray Sheath Dress. The one pictured above is from Nicole Miller and is around $435. Does that hurt a little? Pairing a brightly colored cardigan and statement necklace pulls this outfit together. This is a dress that would work around the office both in the hot seasons and the cold ones. When it gets cold, put on a heavier coat, a scarf and a killer pair of boots.

This is such a perfect casual summer outfit isn’t it? Put together any gray t-shirt with any colored pair of denim, roll up the denim and then add a cute pair of white sneakers. Voila!
