In just a few days my family and I will begin our year of living on the road and traveling the U.S. and Canada full-time. Am I nervous? You bet. But most of all I’m excited about what we’ll see, the people we’ll meet and the experiences we’ll have together as a family.

Needless to say, I’ve been working hard at creating a wardrobe that a) I can comfortably travel in and b) that’s small because storage space is obviously an issue. As I’ve mentioned before, shorts are not my favorite thing to wear, so I’ve been trying to find activewear and casual clothes that I can really live life in.

I’m happy to report I’ve found my perfect pair of pants.

When I first slipped these pants on, I knew they were different than anything else I owned. I also knew these would quickly become my go-to pants on the road. The pleats give them a dressier feel and the capri length makes them perfect for warmer weather.

They’re made with a blend of soft hemp, recycled materials and include spandex for a little bit of stretch. Stretch is my friend.

This outfit is so incredibly comfortable, stylish and versatile. I love how I can wear it chilling out around the camp fire and also head into the city to see the sights.
