Spring is such a tricky season to dress for isn’t it? Is it going to be hot or cold? No one seems to know! I like to look for spring outfits that have classic pieces I can mix and match, as well as ones that offer a tad bit of warmth if I need it. I have fallen head over heels in love with the collections from J. Jill. That white linen button up shirt I featured a couple of weeks ago has helped me put together some super cute outfits. It just goes with everything!
I’m excited to share with you three more pieces from J. Jill’s spring collection.
Spring Outfit #1 – The Go-To Dress for Spring
This dress has my heart. It’s their linen wrap style dress and it is so versatile, comfortable, well-made and just CUTE. I decided to belt it, but you can wear it without. It’s the perfect length, sitting just above the knee and the 100% linen fabric is very comfortable. You can wear it with a cardigan or a denim jacket if the weather is chilly or if you want to cover your arms. As far as what shoes to pair it with, I’m thinking just about anything goes such as heels, sandals, wedges or boots. I styled mine with my favorite pair of peep toe booties. This is a definite go-to dress for me because you can dress it up or down.
Here’s what it looks like not belted.
Spring Outfit #2 – Polka Dotted and Pretty
How cute and pretty is this dotted pullover?! I can’t even put into words how soft this sweater is. Think clouds and snuggling with fluffy puppies. Or jumping in a pile of feathers. I’m getting carried away here, but you get the idea. It’s 100% cotton, very lightweight and offers just the right amount of warmth. I’ve worn it with jeans and white shorts.
I decided to mix it up a little and wear my favorite leopard flats. Polka dots and leopard? Yes please!
Spring Outfit #3 – A Sweater for Warm Days
I love a good pullover for those days I don’t feel like wearing something fitted. This easy textured pullover from J. Jill is a gorgeous slate blue and is light weight enough to wear on warm days. You have to wear a tank underneath, as it is see-through. It has a nice flowing fit and I love it paired with skinny jeans and wedges. Be very careful wearing a necklace with this because it snags easily.
I was browsing through J. Jill’s new arrivals and they have some shorts, skirts and dresses that caught my eye! Which of the three pieces from my spring outfits with J. Jill was your favorite? Let me know!
