Cherry Dump Cake Recipe
A warm, sweet and cherry filled dessert perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients
2
cans cherry pie filling
1
white cake mix
2
sticks of butter
pecans
optional
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
2. Dump the 2 cans of cherry pie filling on the bottom of a 9x13 pan and spread out
3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the cherry pie filling and spread out evenly
4. Slice the butter into little pieces and lay them close together on top of the white cake mix
5. If using pecans, sprinkle the pecans on top of the butter
Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 - 45 minutes, or until top is slightly brown and cherry filling is bubbly
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
Notes
This dessert is best served warm. Speaking from years and years of experience, it's just as good warmed up.
